This is what it means to use Lovelines— clear, respectful terms to help keep this space safe and meaningful for everyone
🧵1. What is Lovelines?
Lovelines is a community platform where people come together to honor and preserve the life stories of loved ones who have passed away. You can create tributes, share photos, audio, and video, and invite others to contribute.
📜2. Your Agreement
By using Lovelines, you're agreeing to:
- Respect the memories and contributions of others.
- Only upload content you have the right to share and is specifically related to the person being remembered.
- Use the platform in a way that honours its purpose.
This is a space built on care and mutual respect.
🖼️3. Who owns the memories?
Memory Keepers: You do. Anything you upload or receive—stories, images, audio, messages—remains yours. (You're simply giving us permission to display them for you).
Storytellers: You allow Lovelines to include your contribution only in that specific shared tribute. (If you’re contributing to someone else’s Tribute, you are gifting the memories to them).
🧯4. What's not allowed?
To keep Lovelines safe and respectful, we don't allow:
- Harmful, hateful, or abusive content.
- Spam or commercial use.
- Uploading private information without clear consent.
We may remove content or restrict access if this agreement is broken—to protect the community.
Why this matters: This is how we make sure Lovelines stays a safe, kind, and respectful space for everyone who visits.
🕊️5. You can leave at anytime
You can fully delete your account or any of your contributions whenever you want. We do not keep any of your data and we will guide you through the process step by step.
